Faith Fields Farm is located in Tri-Cities, Washington. We started our small farm in 2021.
We started with a prayer, a dream, a flock of 12 chickens, and 2 Nigerian Dwarf Goat Does. We spent the next few years trying out different breeds of chickens and getting an established herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. We tried out various duck breeds and different breeds of quail. We settled on keeping Chickens and Nigerian Dwarf Goats moving forward.
For our chickens, we started to specialize in Black Jersey Giants and Wyandotte (Silver laced and Blue Laced) Chickens in 2024. As we move forward we are striving to create a better flock of chickens that are suitable for exhibition and production of both eggs and meat, we want well-rounded birds and we want our flocks to be self-sufficient.
For our Nigerian Dwarf Goats, we are working on improving our herd with a focus on confirmation, ease of milking, and increased milk production. Though our herd is small it is filled with some powerhouses. We will begin milk testing our does during the 2025 kidding season and we hope to get a few of our does appraised this year as we start moving to be a performance herd. Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are registered with the ADGA.
